What Litmus is, and is not

Litmus is an informational tool for tracking supplements and understanding what public research says about them. Not medical advice. Litmus is an informational tool and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Talk to a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement.

Litmus surfaces information from public sources (NIH databases, PubMed, FDA records) and from your own logging. It does not prescribe, diagnose, or make health decisions for you. Personal readouts describe patterns in your own recorded data; they are observations, not clinical findings. The Ask Litmus assistant provides general supplement information generated by an AI model; it can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Litmus, and old enough to consent to these terms where you live. Litmus is not directed at children.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep the data honest, and we publish where every number comes from (see Our data). Public source databases can still contain errors, stale label revisions, or gaps, and summaries of research are not a substitute for reading the research. Verify anything that matters against the product label in your hand and a qualified professional.

Your account and your data

You own the data you put into Litmus. You can export it at any time and delete your account whenever you want. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process what you log solely to provide the service to you - never to sell it or use it for advertising (see our Privacy policy). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your sign-in method secure.

Litmus Pro (auto-renewing subscription)

Litmus Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription (currently offered annually) that unlocks the deeper Insights and unlimited Ask Litmus. The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the same price and period unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempting to breach or overload our systems, no reselling our data feeds without an agreement, no using Litmus to provide medical services, and no using the API or Ask Litmus to generate content that misrepresents what the underlying sources say.

Liability

Litmus is provided as-is, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nomorro is not liable for decisions you make based on information in Litmus, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

Termination

You can stop using Litmus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we ever discontinue the service, we will give you notice and a window to export your data.

Changes and contact
